‘Digital skill is a must for every Indian’

“80% of our farmers don’t even understand the meaning of the word ‘digital’, so how will you impart digital skills training to them?” Jaskaur Meena (BJP) asks.

Day 10 Recap

On the 10th day of the winter session, Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar informed the Lok Sabha that no farmer has lost his life due to police action during the farmers’ agitation.

Climate played a major role in both the houses. The lower house held a nearly four-hour long discussion on climate change under Rule 193, in which 21 members spoke at length on the subject. Climate change was also discussed in detail in Rajya Sabha. Congress Rajya Sabha member Ami Yagnik asked the government to set up a Joint Parliamentary Committee (JPC) to work with all stakeholders.

Law Minister Kiren Rijiju also told the Lok Sabha that the Home Ministry has No proposal Section 124A of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) related to sedition is being considered to be abolished.
