As MPs bid farewell to the neighboring colonial-era Parliament building, the LS and the RS convened for the inaugural session in their new abode on the second day of the five-day special assembly. During this occasion, Modi fervently implored both houses to wholeheartedly endorse the Narishakti Vandan Adhiniyam, a bill advocating for women’s reservation.
