Winter session of Parliament resumes Defense Minister Rajnath Singh is going to make a statement today at 12 noon in the Lok Sabha and at 2 pm in the Rajya Sabha regarding the India-China clash in Tawang, Arunachal Pradesh.

News agency ANI has reported that Defense Minister Rajnath Singh can make a statement in Lok Sabha at 12 noon and Rajya Sabha at 2 pm. The Defense Minister is likely to address both the Houses of Parliament on December 9 over the skirmish between Indian and Chinese troops along the Line of Actual Control in Arunachal Pradesh’s Tawang sector.

What to expect in Lok Sabha today?

After the Question Hour and the laying of papers on the Table of the House, the Lok Sabha will discuss the Demands for Supplementary and Additional Grants. Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman is then set to introduce a bill to authorize the payment and appropriation of further amounts from the Consolidated Fund of India for the current financial year and during the financial year 2019-2020.
