Allu Arjun will next be seen in Pushpa: The Rule.
Allu Arjun’s family includes some prominent names like Ram Charan, Nagendra Babu and Pawan Kalyan.
Allu Arjun has been in limelight for some time now for his upcoming film Pushpa: The Rule. Pushpa: The Rise, did exceptionally well at the box office and its sequel is expected to replicate the success. Not only Allu Arjun, but other members of his family have also entertained the audience as actors, directors and producers over the decades. They are extremely popular and have carved a niche for themselves over the years.
Allu Arjun’s grandfather Allu Ramalingaiah was one of the famous actors and comedians. He played lead roles in over 1,000 Telugu films and received the Padma Shri award in 1990. He also won the Raghupathi Venkaiah Award in 2001. Allu’s father Allu Aravind is a famous producer and has made many hit films. His brother Allu Sirish is also an actor and has played lead roles in films like Urvasivo Rakshasivo, Okka Kashanam etc.
Allu Arjun is also related to actor Ram Charan. Chiranjeevi, father of Ram Charan, popularly known as Megastar, is his maternal uncle. Thus, Ram is the cousin of Allu. Nagendra Babu and Pawan Kalyan are also his uncles. Chiranjeevi and Pawan Kalyan have gained a huge fan following with their acting skills. Nagendra Babu primarily works as a producer but has also acted in a few supporting roles.
Nagendra Babu’s son Varun Tej and daughter Niharika Konidela have also ventured into acting. Varun has acted in some successful movies like Gaddalakonda Ganesh, Kanche and others. However, he had a poor 2022 when his films Ghani and F3: Fun and Frustration were box office disappointments. On the other hand, Niharika also got a chance to play the female lead in films like Oka Manasu, Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy, etc.
Sai Dharam Tej, son of Allu Arjun’s aunt Vijaya Durga’s sister, also works as an actor. Sai Dharam won accolades for his performance in the film Virupaksha directed by Karthik Verma Dandu. Virupaksha impressed the audience and critics. In an interaction with fans on Twitter, he confirmed that there will be a sequel to Virupaksha.
