Petrol and diesel prices: Fuel rates were stable in metro cities today

Petrol, Diesel Price Today: Petrol and diesel prices remained unchanged in four metro cities on Sunday, November 7. Fuel prices have remained stable since November 4, when the government cut excise duty on both petrol and diesel by Rs 5 and Rs 10, respectively.

According to the Indian Oil Corporation, petrol is being sold in the national capital for Rs 103.97, while the price of diesel is Rs 86.67. Petrol in Mumbai is being sold at Rs 109.98 per liter while diesel is being sold at Rs 94.14 per litre.

Despite the reduction in prices, petrol and diesel rates are still above Rs 100 per liter across the country, while among the four metros, they are the most expensive in Mumbai. Petrol and diesel prices in metro cities are as follows:

State-run oil refiners such as Indian Oil, Bharat Petroleum and Hindustan Petroleum revise fuel rates on a daily basis, taking into account crude oil prices and rupee-dollar exchange rates in international markets. Any change in the prices of petrol and diesel is effective from 6 am every day.
