This commendable gesture by the Mumbai Traffic Police has impressed social media users a lot. A Twitter user Vaibhav Parmar shared a picture in which a Mumbai traffic cop is saving the day by sprinkling sand on a slippery road.

The caption posted with the picture read, “*appreciation post* Today at Bhandup pumping signal many bikes were slippery due to rain, 1st traffic officer called fire brigade but it didn’t wait and ensured safety of commuters Covered the road itself with dust to do it. Hats off to the man.” In a subsequent tweet, he said that the police started their work after seeing the bike skidding on the road due to rain. Actually, a person got hurt in his knee due to slipping.
