PKL 9: Puneri Paltan, Haryana Steelers play a thrilling 27-27 tie

Puneri Paltan threatened a big win against Haryana Steelers in front of their home fans for the first time this season. But there was a match from Haryana side and finally in Pro Kabaddi League Season 9, the match was tied at 27-27 over Shri Shiv Chhatrapati. Play campus, here on Friday.

Paltan started off with a bang starting with Super Raid opposite Mohit Goyat. A close review of the platoon also worked in their favour, as they had momentum in the corner, playing at home for the first time this season. In the middle of the first half, the platoons were in control and had a slim 1 point lead, with both sides cautious on their approach.

Buoyed by home support, Paltan raged as Fazal Atrachali fought back strongly, giving himself a 3 point lead of 13-10 at the end of the first half.

Pune team started the second half on the front foot and took an 8 point lead with an all out. Soon after, the Steelers went through gear, Manjeet took charge and Mohit too narrowed the lead significantly in the middle of the second half.

The Steelers remained in the hunt with Manjeet all out, reducing the points gap to 2 in the 36th minute. Soon after Manjeet and Amirhosin, Bastami brought the Steelers to the level of pegging, with just over a minute left.

The final minutes of the game were interesting as both the teams threw kitchen sinks at each other, but eventually, with a score of 27–27 on the final whistle, both sides had to share the spoils.
