Pleasant weekend to continue for Delhi-NCR: Light rain, cloudy skies likely tomorrow

Delhi Weather Updates: After several weeks of scorching heat, Delhi-NCR got respite from rain this week. The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) said that on Saturday, the national capital witnessed another pleasant day with the maximum temperature recorded at 32.7 degrees Celsius, seven notches below normal.

The IMD had said that there is a possibility of cloudy sky and light to moderate rain in the city till June 21.

The Met Office said the maximum and minimum temperatures of the national capital are likely to hover around 32 and 24 degrees Celsius on Sunday.

Waterlogging has been reported from some parts of the city due to light rain in the last two days.

Data from the System of Air Quality and Weather Forecasting and Research (SAFAR) showed that the air quality index (AQI) on Saturday evening was recorded in the “satisfactory” category at 73.
