“Please Don’t Do This…”: Bengaluru Resident’s Humble Note To Neighbor Wins The Internet

In the caption of the post, Mr Das said the incident took place in Koramangala.

While arguments over the issue of car parking are common among neighbours, a man’s civilized approach in Bengaluru is winning hearts online. On Twitter, user Subhasis Das shared a picture of a polite note taped to the window of a car. In this, the vehicle owner was requested not to park his car in front of the house. It said the space they were using for parking did not belong to them while the neighbors claimed they needed it to park their other car.

In the caption of the post, Mr Das said the incident took place in Koramangala. He wrote, “Bengaluru is a city of epic content.”

“Please do not park your car here!! We had already requested you not to do so. Please understand that we are living in this area since the year 2000, and we have two cars. So, we need a good amount of parking Needed space. The note read, “Please go back to your previous parking spot. Let’s be good and cooperative neighbors.”

Take a look at the post below:

In the following tweet, Mr Das clarified that the car did not belong to him. He said, “This is a random car that I found on the streets of Koramangala. I don’t have a car yet.”

Meanwhile, internet users were quick to react to the post. While some called the note “polite and nice”, others jokingly compared the situation to the absurdity it would have been in Delhi or Gurugram.

One user wrote, “What a nice and polite note. Delhi would have had a violent confrontation or at least a profanity contest.” Another said, “If this had happened in Gurgaon, the neighbor would have already broken the windshield with a baseball bat.”

A third commented, “Wow, that’s great, very polite. Instead, next time they park their vehicle, just put a rose and a note saying “Sorry” and maybe invite them over for tea.” A fourth user shared, “I think this is a good move. In the same Bengaluru, my car got a big scratch when it was temporarily parked on the road due to maintenance work at home. Not just in Bengaluru, our There are both extremes everywhere.”

Mr Das posted the image a few days ago and it has since collected over 134,000 views and over 1,300 likes.
