PM Kisan KYC date extended: Check cutoff date and know how to complete e-KYC

There is good news for the farmers who have signed up for the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana (PM-KISAN). The central government has extended the last date for mandatory eKYC. PM Kisan EKYC Can now be completed by May 22, 2022 (instead of the current deadline of March 31, 2022).

According to the official portal, “eKYC deadline for all PM Kisan beneficiaries has been extended till 22nd May 2022.”

PM-KISAN is a central scheme aimed at providing financial assistance to landholding farmer families subject to certain exclusion criteria, so that they can take care of expenses related to agriculture and allied activities as well as household needs.

Under the scheme, amount of 6,000 per year is transferred in three four-monthly installments 2,000 directly into the bank accounts of farmers.

The payment is made on the basis of the Aadhaar linked data of the beneficiaries. Recently, PM Modi released the 10th installment of financial benefits under the PM-Kisan scheme on January 1.

How to complete the e-KYC process

Go to the official website of PM-Kisan, www.pmkisan.gov.in,

Click on e-KYC option on the right corner of the website.

Enter Aadhar Card Number, Captcha Code and Click on Search.

Enter the mobile number linked with your Aadhar card.

– Receive OTP and enter it.

Click on ‘Submit’, the KYC process will be completed.
