PM Modi condoles the demise of Sharad Yadav

Prime Minister Narendra Modi led the nation in condoling the death of Sharad Yadav. Union ministers Rajnath Singh, Amit Shah remembered Yadav’s contribution, while Mamata Banerjee hoped his legacy lives on.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi Led the nation in condoling the death of former Union Minister and RJD leader Sharad Yadav at the age of 75 at a private hospital in Gurugram.

The Prime Minister said on Twitter, “Saddened by the demise of Shri Sharad Yadav ji. In his long public career, he distinguished himself as a parliamentarian and minister. He was deeply influenced by the ideals of Dr. Lohia.

Modi said, “I will always cherish our conversation.”

Union Defense Minister Ranjit Singh expressed his condolences and recalled Yadav’s “long political career” in which he “always strongly took up the cause of the weaker sections of the society”.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah recalled Yadav’s “valuable contribution to Bihar and Indian politics over decades”.

Shah tweeted and wrote, ‘Received the sad news of Sharad Yadav’s demise. Sharad Yadav ji made his valuable contribution in Bihar and Indian politics for decades. I express my condolences to his family and supporters in this hour of grief. May God grant the departed soul a place at his holy feet.”

Calling him “a stalwart statesman and highly respected colleague,” the Chief Minister of Bengal Mamata Banerjee Yadav and hoped that his legacy lives on.

To express his grief, Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) patriarch Lalu Prasad Yadav made a video from his hospital bed and said he “felt very helpless.” “Sharad bhai… I didn’t want to say goodbye like this. Heartfelt tribute,” Yadav said.

Lalu tweeted, ‘Received the sad news of Sharadbhai’s demise in Singapore at night. I feel very helpless. There was a meeting before coming and we thought a lot in terms of socialist and social justice stream.”

Former Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh and leader of the Samajwadi Party Akhilesh Yadav He paid a “humble tribute” to Sharad by posting a picture of Sharad on his social media account.

Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav took to Twitter to offer condolences to his “mentor and a great socialist”.

Yadav said, “I am unable to say anything.”

He tweeted and wrote, “I am saddened by the news of the untimely demise of senior RJD leader, great socialist leader and my guardian respected Sharad Yadav Ji Mandal Messiah.” I am unable to say anything.”

“Had a conversation with mother and brother Shantanu. The entire Samajwadi family is with the family members in this hour of grief.

A statement from the Fortis Memorial Research Institute said Yadav was brought to the emergency ward in an unconscious and unresponsive state. “On examination, he had no pulse or recordable blood pressure. CPR was performed on him as per ACLS protocol. Despite best efforts, he could not be revived and was declared brought dead at 10.19 pm.”

According to sources, the former JDU chief was fine till afternoon, but later he developed some health issues, after which he was taken to the hospital.

Yadav held various portfolios in the Atal Bihari Vajpayee government between 1999 and 2004.
