The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the date for the PM Young Achievers Scholarship Award Scheme for Vibrant India (YASASVI) Entrance Test 2023. As per the notification by the NTA, the PM YASASVI Entrance Test 2023 is scheduled on September 29. The admit card for the exam will be available soon on the official website, yet.nta.ac.in. The exam is conducted to select candidates for scholarships under the PM YASASVI-Top Class Education in Schools scheme for OBC, EBC, and DNT students every year.

Candidates can download the details by following the processes outlined below:

Step 1: Navigate to the official website at yet.nta.ac.in.

Step 2: On the homepage, click the admit card link.

Step 3: Enter your login details.

Step 4: On the screen, the PM YASASVI hall ticket will show.

Step 5: View and download the admit card.

Step 6: Save a hard copy for future reference.

PM YASASVI entrance test 2023:  Exam Pattern

The entrance test will consist of 100 multiple-choice questions (MCQs). Students will have 150 minutes to finish the paper. The assessments will be in math, science, social science, and general awareness. The results are expected to be declared around November 2023.

PM YASASVI entrance test 2023: Documents requirement:

Candidates taking the PM YASASVI exam must have specific documents with them in addition to their admit card. Among them is valid photo identification. The acceptable photo identification documents include the Aadhar Card, passport, and school identification card.

However, as per the official notice, “It has been decided that instead of the Entrance Test (which will entail extra burden on the applicants), the selection for this year will now be done on the basis of the merit to be prepared considering the marks obtained in the class VIII & X, as applicable, as per scheme guidelines.”

The scholarship students will be chosen using the NSP Portal. All those who received 60% or higher in their eighth or tenth grades are eligible to apply through the NSP site. For further updates, it is advised that candidates check the National Scholarship Portal (https://scholarships.gov.in) and the Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment website (https://socialjustice.gov.in) regularly.
