Punjab National Bank (PNB) has released a notification inviting applications for a total of 103 vacancies for Officer and Manager posts. The last date for the candidates to apply for the jobs is August 30. Interested candidates can apply for the posts on the official website of PNB at pnbindia.in.
The notification also mentioned that the job positions involve an indemnity bond for a specific time period. “The candidates are advised that if they are selected, they will have to execute an indemnity bond with the bank or surety for a particular period,” the notice said.

For the post of Manager (Security), the bond tenure is for a period of three years and includes a bond amount of Rs 3 lakh. The bond tenure for the post of Officer (Fire Protection) is same as that of Manager but for the post of Officer the bond amount is Rs 2 lakh.

The financial institution is looking for candidates for the post of Fire Protection Officer, for which there are 23 vacancies, and Security Manager, for which there are 80 vacancies. As per the notification released, out of the 103 vacancies released, 15 are reserved for Scheduled Castes, 27 are reserved for Other Backward Classes, seven are reserved for Scheduled Tribes, and ten are reserved for Economically Weaker Sections, while 44 are reserved. Applicants must have completed graduation with relevant work experience. The age of the candidate should be between 21 years to 35 years. Upper age limit is relaxable by five years for SC, ST, three years for OBC and 10 years for persons with benchmark disabilities.

PNB Recruitment 2022: Selection Process
Based on the number of applications received, the bank will decide the type of selection process for both the posts. The first process involves shortlisting the candidates on the basis of the documents provided by them while submitting the application. After that the candidates will be called for interview.
The second process involves an online or written test, which will then shortlist the interviewees. There will be a total of 50 questions in the online test and it will be of one hour duration. The exam will be of 100 marks and the interview will be of 50 marks.

The pay scale for the post of Fire Protection Officer is Rs 36,000 and for the post of Security Manager is Rs 48,170.
