Poco F5 5G to launch in India soon: Check price and specifications

New Delhi: Poco F5 will soon go official in India. The company’s CEO Himanshu Tandon made the same announcement on his Twitter account. The exact launch date has not been disclosed yet. An important aspect of the upcoming Poco phone was confirmed by him. The Poco F5 will be the first phone with Qualcomm’s all-new Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 chipset.

Poco F4 5G

Recall that the Poco F4 5G was introduced in India last year with a powerful Snapdragon 870 CPU. The same processor has been given in some phones under Rs 40,000, including the OnePlus 9R.

For those looking for high-performance handsets, Poco and iQOO have released new 5G phones with this SoC under Rs 30,000. The starting price of the Poco F4 in the country was Rs 27,999 and the upcoming Poco F5 is expected to be priced at the same price.

In the coming days, as the launch event draws closer, the corporation is expected to reveal further features.

According to reports, the Poco F5 will feature a 6.67-inch AMOLED screen with FHD+ resolution. Like its predecessor, the display is likely to refresh at 120Hz. The latest Android 13 OS will be installed on the device right out of the box.

The smartphone can come with triple camera setup. It is believed that it may include a 64-megapixel camera, an 8-megapixel sensor, and a 2-megapixel camera. There will be a separate sensor in the front. A 16-megapixel camera can be used for video calls and selfies.

The gadget may continue to support 67W fast charging technology. According to reports, the 5G phone may pack a modest 5,000mAh battery.
