Polestar 3 electric SUV with 610km range unveiled: Launch in 2023 – Times of India

Swedish Automotive Brand Pole Star recently unveiled its third all-electric SUVPolestar 3. Expected to be launched globally in 2023, Polestar 3 is equipped with latest safety features and sustainable materials are used in the cabin.
Built on the SPA2 platform, the all-electric Polestar 3 SUV shares its foundation with the upcoming volvo EX90 all-electric flagship. In terms of design, the Polestar 3 is very similar to the Polestar concept concept like the front aero wing, dual blades and flowing coupe design. The front grille is closed and a vent on the bumper is located below.
The side profile gets 21-inch alloy wheels as well as optional 22-inch alloy wheels. As can be seen in the pictures, there is a straight tailgate at the rear with a full-length light bar under the glasshouse.
As far as the interiors are concerned, the Polestar 3 is equipped with a 14.5-inch touchscreen infotainment system with a Snapdragon processor, a digital instrument cluster and a 25-speaker Bowers & Wilkins sound system.

Some other key interior features include a heads-up display, panoramic sunroof and a new Nvidia Drive Core computer. This computer receives data from an array of sensors, such as 5 radars, 5 external cameras and 12 ultrasonic sensors.
Mechanically, the Polestar 3 SUV will get a dual motor setup and all-wheel drive system as standard. The standard variant churns out 483 bhp of maximum power and 840 Nm of peak torque, while the performance pack churns out 510 bhp power and 910 Nm of torque. The Performance Pack comes with an adaptive air suspension with a revised tune.
Initially, the Polestar 3 SUV will be powered by a 111-kWh battery, which is a . offers WLTP 610 km range. When launched, it will compete with the likes of the BMW IX and Tesla Model X electric SUVs in the global markets.
