Political storm due to crater accident

A student died in an accident in Yelahanka on Saturday night when a car allegedly tried to go on a bad road. The traffic police have registered a case against the municipal authorities for the accident.

This is the second pothole accident in the city this month. This comes amid the government’s effort to beautify the city ahead of the global investors’ meet to be held from November 2 to 4.

The opposition Congress has targeted the BJP government over the accident. AICC general secretary, in-charge Karnataka Randeep Singh Surjewala termed the accident “shocking and shameful” and called the state government “the pit Bommai government”.
