Polycab Scion buys two duplex apartments in South Mumbai for ₹48 crores

BENGALURU: Kunal Inder Jaisinghani, Head – Strategic Initiatives, Polycab India Limited has bought two luxury duplex apartments at Beaumonde Towers in South Mumbai. 48 crores.

Jaisinghani, who is the son of Inder Jaisinghani, Chairman and Managing Director of Polycab India, bought the residences from Dipesh Praveen Desai, Director, Asia Pacific Business Services Pvt Ltd. Polycab is a listed company manufacturing cables and wires.

Kunal Jaisinghani already has another house in Beaumonde.

The two apartments are spread over 6580.80 sq ft, and are on the 32nd and 33rd floors in Tower B of Beaumonde Towers in Prabhadevi. He will have access to 11 car parks and has paid the total stamp duty 2.40 crores.

The properties were registered on May 25, showed documents accessed through Zapki, which collects publicly available property registration data.

Jaisinghani and Desai did not respond to emailed queries.

Last year, Inder Jaisinghani had bought four residential units spread over 4,726.5 sq ft in Beaumonde Towers. 34.5 crores. The 32nd floor in Tower A has two units on the 33rd floor and the other in Tower B is located on the 32nd and 33rd floors. The complex consists of three towers – A, B and C, and is constructed by the Sheth Group.

Many buyers in residential complexes have purchased units in pairs or have combined four units into a single, larger residence.

Cities like Mumbai, Delhi and Bengaluru have a good appetite for luxury apartments with high-end lifestyles, amenities and curated designs post Covid. Property analysts have said that sales of luxury homes are on the rise and demand is looking strong.

Before 2022 HDFC Asset Management Company Limited’s Chief Investment Officer Prashant Jain and his wife Divya Prashant Jain bought an apartment overlooking the sea. 19.36 crores, at ‘Marina Bay’ in South Mumbai’s Worli Sea Face area. Fashion designer Manish Malhotra has bought an apartment in Mumbai’s suburb of Bandra West 21.1 crores.

In May, Rana George, son of politician and former Karnataka home minister KJ George, bought a luxury apartment at Kingfisher Towers in Bengaluru, one of the most expensive residential projects. 35.16 crore, approx. 42,262 per sq ft.
