Adipurush, Om Raut’s magnum opus, starring Prabhas and kriti sanon Starring in the lead roles, is due to release in a few months. It is one of the most awaited films of the year and people are looking forward to see Raut’s take on the biggest story of Indian history and culture, Ramayana. Produced by Bhushan Kumar, the team has now said that not only the Indian diaspora but the entire world will witness the grandeur of Indian history and culture. The film will have its world premiere on June 13 during the Tribeca Film Festival, which will run from June 7 to June 18. The film will release worldwide on 16 June.
The line-up for the Tribeca Festival has been announced, and the esteemed jury has selected Adipurush to make its world premiere here. Tribeca Festival, presented by OKEx and founded in 2001 by Robert De Niro, Jane Rosenthal, and Craig Hatcoff, brings together artists and diverse audiences to celebrate all forms of storytelling. With strong roots in film, Tribeca is synonymous with creative expression and entertainment. Adipurush, which is touted to be a visual feast, will be displayed in 3D format as “Midnight Prasad” at the festival. Adipurush is making the world his stage, and rightly so; This is a huge moment for Indian cinema.
