The election strategist once again took to Twitter to target Rahul Gandhi and take a dig at his electoral failures.
While he recognized the importance of the idea that the Congress was represented as a single party, he demanded that the opposition leadership be decided democratically.
“Thoughts and Space that Congress representation is important for a strong opposition. But Congress leadership is not a divine right of an individual, especially when the party has lost more than 90% of the elections in the last 10 years. Let the opposition leadership decide democratically,” tweeted Prashant Kishor.

Prashant Kishor’s latest attack Congress leadership This comes a day after West Bengal Chief Minister and Trinamool Congress chief Mamata Banerjee questioned the existence of the United Progressive Alliance.
After meeting Nationalist Congress Party chief Sharad Pawar on Wednesday, Mamta had said, “No matter UPA Now.”
He also indirectly took a dig at Rahul Gandhi on his foreign trips without naming him.

This is not the first time that Prashant Kishor has targeted the Congress leadership.
When the Congress was aggressively pursuing the Lakhimpur Kheri incident in Uttar Pradesh, Prashant Kishor took a dig at the party leadership.
“People seeking a quick, smooth revival of the GOP-led opposition based on the #LakhimpurKheeri incident are setting themselves up for a major disappointment. Unfortunately there is no quick solution to the GOP’s deep-rooted and structural weakness,” he had tweeted then.
Ironically, Prashant Kishor was reportedly in talks with the Congress leadership a few months back to join the old party. He had also met Sonia Gandhi and Rahul to discuss the process.
However, the talks seem to have failed and since then the election strategists have been aggressive against the Congress leadership.
