Patna: Janata Dal (United) national president Rajiv Ranjan Singh alias Lalan Singh on Monday targeted the political strategist. Prashant Kishor For the latter remark that ‘no development work has been done in Bihar in the last 30 years’, and further alleged that Kishor had taken his ‘Jan Suraj Padyatra‘ as part of Bharatiya Janata Party As “(BJP) agenda” he (PK) is working on behalf of BJP in the state.
Demanding a probe into the expenses of PK’s ‘Jan Suraj Yatra’, Lalan said, “Kishore is giving big advertisements on the cover pages of different newspapers. From where are they getting the money for all such campaigns? What is the source of money which he is spending on advertisements?”
The JD(U) chief also questioned the ED and the CBI for being silent on the huge money being spent by Kishor on the padyatra programme.
“Where are the CBI and ED? Are they only for opposition leaders like Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) chief Lalu Prasad and Bihar’s deputy CM Tejashwi Prasad Yadav?” Lalu, who became Lalu’s enemy, questioned.
“He (PK) is in control of the place from where the money is generated for his advertisement in the cover pages of the newspaper. I have come to know that the payment for the advertisements was done in cash,” Singh said.
