Manchester City finished four points at the top of the table with their seventh consecutive Premier League victory after beating Leeds United 7–0 at the Etihad Stadium.

Manchester City thrashed Leeds United 7-0 at the Etihad Stadium on Tuesday to give the Premier League seven consecutive wins and move four points to the top of the table.
Marcelo Bielsa’s Leeds were easily dethroned by the City side, who were at their best after taking an eighth-minute lead through Phil Foden.
The lead was doubled five minutes later when Jack Grealish met an inswinging cross with a strong header from Riyad Mahrez, which overtook Leeds keeper Ilan Messlier.
Kevin de Bruyne showed speed and a clinical finish to make it 3-0 as he fined the ball from impressive Rodri.
Mahrez added fourth shortly after the restart and then de Bruyne exploded in a brilliant, unstoppable drive over 20 meters and John Stones took the sixth after a double double save from Messier.
Substitute Nathan Ake led into a Foden corner to make it 7–0. City have 41 points with Liverpool and Chelsea, who both play on Thursday with 37 and 36 points respectively.
