Presidential Election 2022 News UpdatesYashwant Sinha, former Union Minister and joint opposition candidate for the post of President, will campaign for himself in Lucknow on Thursday (July 7).

Sinha will reach the state capital on Thursday evening and attend a meeting of Samajwadi Party (SP) legislators. Allies of SP will also attend the meeting.

SP President Akhilesh Yadav will be present on this occasion.

Sinha, the joint opposition candidate, will also meet some other MLAs to seek votes in the presidential election to be held on July 18.

The elections for the President of India will be held on 18 July and the results will be out on 21 July. The term of President Ram Nath Kovind will end on July 24.
