PM Narendra Modi calls upon exporters to achieve long-term export targets

The government is working to promote ease of doing business and boost exports, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said, adding that new domestic products like handlooms are reaching new markets.

He said that the new building will greatly benefit the people associated with trade, commerce and Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) sector.

  5. “Last year, despite global disruptions, India’s exports touched $670 billion… To achieve the new targets, collective efforts are necessary. Industry, exporters and export promotion councils are here. I ask them not only short term but also I would urge you to set long-term export targets for yourself,” he said.
