U Mumba registered their second consecutive win by defeating Tamil Thalaivas 39-32 in Pro Kabaddi League Season 9 at Sree Kanteerava Indoor Stadium on Friday.
Raiders Guman Singh, Ashish and Jai Bhagwan took the win for Mumbai with 30 points between them.
In the seventh minute, Narendra made some raids and Tamil Thalaivas took a 6-4 lead.
Guman Singh headed for U Mumba through some brilliant raids, but the Thalaivas kept going.
Tamil Nadu took a 10-7 lead in the 13th minute.
Moments later, Narendra made another brilliant raid to reduce U Mumba to three players on the mat.
But, soon after, Jai Bhagwan launched a multi-point raid that helped Mumbai level the score at 12-12.
However, the Thalaivas managed to lead 16-15 at the end of the first half.

Guman Singh fired a multi-point raid in the opening minutes of the second half and soon after, the U Mumba team were all out to take a 20-17 lead.
Bhagwan scored two raid points in the 27th minute as Thalaivas was reduced to three players on the mat. Ashish made a scintillating raid as U Mumba struck another all out and took a massive lead at 31-22.
Raiders Ashish, Guman and Bhagwan collected the points and eventually closed out a comprehensive win for U Mumba.
- Jaipur Pink Panthers vs Haryana Steelers:
In another match, Jaipur Pink Panthers beat Haryana Steelers 44-31.
Jaipur registered their second win in the tournament on the back of a scintillating performance by raider Arjun Deshwal.
Top-of-form Deshwal scored 14 points for the win, while Rahul Choudhary and Sunil Kumar also made significant contributions for the Panthers.
