Production-ready to rival Bajaj-Triumph’s Hunter 350? New spy images surface – Times of India

It is not long after we saw the testing mule of the upcoming motorcycle under the Bajaj Auto-Triumph motorcycle alliance in the UK. And now, very candid pictures have come out almost as if they were clicked for a photoshoot. Images posted by motorcycle news Offer a very clear view of the upcoming motorcycle which takes design cues from the Triumph Bonneville range and is now probably ready for production.
It appears that modern classic appeal is synonymous with the Bonneville range. While the headlamp has a classic round shape, it gets an LED light, as do the turn indicators. The bike looks clean, but has no branding yet, probably in the final stages of testing.

Not much is known about the powertrain of the first Bajaj-Triumph, but it will most likely come with a 200-250cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine, which will make it a mighty rival against the newly launched Royal Enfield. Hunter 350, It remains to be seen whether the bike will get the KTM 250cc engine or the engine derived from it, considering the Bajaj-KTM relationship. The engine as seen on the test mule has air-cooling fins that will be primarily for aesthetics, much like the much larger Bonnevilles.

In the pictures, the bike shows upside down forks and a monoshock at the rear, single disc brakes at both ends, and alloy wheels with Metzler rubber pointing towards its road bias.
The segment in which Bajaj-Triumph will roll is fast catching up in India with the likes of Hunter 350, TVS Ronin And Java 42. Reports and test mules that suggest the bike is in its final stages of testing, during an official unveiling EICMA The motorcycle show in November this year, will then be launched in India early next year.
