PUBG: PUBG creator Crafton permanently bans over 58,000 BGMI accounts in India – Times of India

With a view to curb fraud, crafton Inc., developer of battleground mobile india ,bgmi) has imposed a permanent ban on 58,611 sports accounts from December 20, 2021 to December 26, 2021.
In a blog post on the BGMI website, Crafton announced:
“Dear battlefield mobile india fans,
From December 20 to December 26, 58,611 accounts were permanently banned.
We would also like to present you a complete list of Fraud Those who have tried to ruin our battlefields.”
The post contains a comprehensive list of banned BGMI offenders and can be viewed and downloaded as a PDF.
“Battlegrounds Mobile India will endeavor to implement strong sanctions with the ultimate goal of eliminating the use of illegal programs to provide you with an enjoyable gaming environment.”, added Crafton in the blog post.
Weeding out hackers and cheaters has been high on Crafton’s agenda for some time with players regularly complaining about their in-game experience being ruined by fraudsters. In November, Crafton removed more than 3.5 million accounts to make the BGMI battlefield a fairer playground. The restrictions are also permanent, meaning those accounts cannot be used again.
