The accident took place on the Kundli-Manesar-Palwal (KMP) Expressway which passes through the national capital. Police said that Sidhu was going from Delhi to Bathinda in Punjab when the car he was traveling in collided with a trailer truck at 9.30 pm. His female co-driver narrowly escaped in the accident.

Sidhu was declared brought dead at Kharkhoda Hospital in Haryana’s Sonipat district. His body was sent to Sonepat in Haryana for postmortem.

Soon, actors like Ammi Virk, Ranjit Bawa and others condoled the actor’s demise.

He was arrested in connection with the violence at Red Fort farmers‘ Tractor rally on Republic Day 2021. He was also arrested by the police for his derogatory remarks towards SC/ST caste. A case was registered against him under the SC/ST Act.
