TOI had mentioned on October 12 that the BCCI would start the process of appointing the next coach this week. Vikram Rathor Will continue to be the batting coach of the team.
It is learned that Dravid has been given a two-year contract. Dravid will get a salary of Rs 10 crore. “He was reappointed as the NCA chief last month. But BCCI needed a strong candidate to take Indian cricket forward. He has worked so hard to develop the front line of Indian cricketers.

Even Mhambrey knows this next many players like the back of his hand. Hence, Ganguly and Shah thought it would be best if they could bring both of them on board. He will take charge from the New Zealand series after the World Cup.”
