Gandhi’s reaction came after the Finance Minister presented the Union Budget for 2023-24 nirmala sitharaman In which the government increased the personal income tax exemption limit, exempted small savings and announced the biggest increase in capital expenditure in the last decade.

Mitra Kaal in Budget: There is no vision to create jobs. There is no plan to deal with inflation. No intention to remove inequality. 1% richest own 40% wealth, 50% poorest pay 64% GST, 42% youth unemployed – yet, PM doesn’t care!” Gandhi said in a tweet.

He said, “This budget proves that the government has no roadmap to build India’s future.”
