Railway job aspirants ask for revised RRB NTPC result, dates for further exams

Lakhs of candidates who have applied for Railway Recruitment Jobs are now demanding the government to lift the restrictions and start the recruitment process again. The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) had put on hold the recruitment of Group D and NTPC after the candidates protested violently alleging malpractice in the examination. At the time of stalling the recruitment process, RRB had said that it has constituted a committee to probe the allegations which will submit its report on March 4.

As reported earlier by News18.com, the report has been finalized by the committee. If sources are to be believed, the committee has suggested that the number of candidates selected for the second round of NTPC recruitment should be increased. There is no official communication on this yet. Meanwhile, candidates have started protesting online and demanding exam dates and revised results.

Alleging scams in the recruitment process, railway job aspirants had staged protests across the states. Demonstrations had turned violent in many areas of Bihar. Due to the protest, the Railways had banned the next round of recruitment.

The members of the committee include Deepak Peter, Chairman, Chief Executive Director (Industrial Relations), Railway Board; Rajiv Gandhi, Member Secretary, Executive Director Establishment (RRB), Railway Board; Aditya Kumar, Member, Chief Personnel Officer (Admn.), Western Railway; Jagdish Alagar, Member Chairman RRB/Chennai; Mukesh Gupta, Member Chairman RRB/Bhopal.
