Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav inspected the progress of the central government’s ambitious Ahmedabad-Mumbai bullet train project in Surat on June 06. The ambitious bullet train project will run at a speed of 320 kmph on the high speed rail corridor between the cities of Ahmedabad and Mumbai, covering a distance of 508 km and 12 stations. The initiative to build a bullet train between Ahmedabad and Mumbai started in September 2017.
