The India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Thursday predicted that scattered rain, lightning and gusty winds are likely over Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha and Gangetic West Bengal in the next 5 days.
IMD further stated that heat wave conditions It is likely to return to Rajasthan on 2nd and 3rd June, South Punjab, South Haryana, South Uttar Pradesh and North Madhya Pradesh on 3rd and 4th June and Vidarbha during 2-5th June.

Very heavy to very heavy rainfall very likely over Assam and Meghalaya during 2-4 June and over Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim during 3-6 June.
There is also a possibility of very heavy downpour in Meghalaya on 2nd and 3rd June.

Heavy rainfall is very likely over Tamil Nadu and South Interior Karnataka during June 2-4 and over Kerala and Mahe on June 2, 3, 5 and 6.
