In his speech to MNS office bearers, he mentioned Islamic televangelist Zakir NaikooWho absconded from India and supported Nupur Sharma.

Zakir Naik, a Muslim preacher and founder of Islamic Research Foundation, who fled from India. Who is that hero of yours? Watch his interviews. Zakir Naik is a Muslim. “Nobody said anything about Zakir Naik. Nobody asked him to apologize. You have stopped talking about it,” he said.
He said, “Till date no other party did as much agitation as we did. Come over there and chant Hanuman Chalisa. Everyone started removing the loudspeaker. Now many people in the Muslim community are saying that it is good for the ears. Looks like there have been many protests. You have to tell this to people all the time. What do you stop?” Raj said.
Sharma’s remarks against the Prophet during a TV debate sparked massive protests across the country and invited sharp reactions from several countries. BJP suspended him from the party.
