The Education Department of Rajasthan has revised the date sheet for class 5 and 8 board exams. As per the new schedule, the class 8 board exams which were earlier to be conducted from April 16 to 27 will now be conducted from April 17 to May 17. Similarly, the class 5 exam has been postponed to start from April 27. instead of the predetermined date of April 19.
As per the official notification, all the exams will be conducted from 7:30 am to 10 pm in a single shift instead of 2 pm to 4:30 pm. Hearing impaired students will be given an additional 50 minutes to write the exam.
More than 27 lakh students are expected to appear in these board exams including 12.64 lakh of class 8 and 15 lakh of class 5. Here is the complete datesheet for class 5 and 8 exams.

The model papers of the exam are already available online and candidates can refer them to prepare for the exam.
Meanwhile, the class 10 and 12 board exams are already being conducted by the Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education (RBSE). The Class 10 exams began on March 31 and will continue till April 26, while the Class 12 board exams will continue till April 26 after starting from March 24.
RBSE has set up around 6000 exam centers to conduct exams for more than 20 lakh students across the state. The board has installed CCTV cameras in every classroom of the center and will record the entire examination process to eliminate the possibility of malpractice.
