Rajasthan CM organizes ‘Sevanjali’, auction of gifts received by him; Money deposited in CM Relief Fund

Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot on Thursday organized ‘Sevanjali’ at his residence to auction souvenirs and gifts received on various occasions. A collection of about Rs 2 crore was made in this program organized by Bharat Seva Sansthan. According to a statement, this amount will be deposited in the ‘Chief Minister’s Relief Fund’ for ‘Nirogi Rajasthan’.

Gehlot, who was present at the program along with his wife Sunita Gehlot, said that the respect given to him by the people of the state through mementos and gifts will come only to help the people of the state.

On this occasion, the Chief Minister said that Rajasthan has followed a great tradition of cooperation in times of disaster.

He said that the people of the state generously cooperated to help the victims during calamities like tsunami, earthquake and floods in Kerala. “We are all proud of this kind of collaboration,” he said.
