Jaipur: Four days ago, two married women allegedly kidnapped a 15-year-old girl and raped her by feeding her intoxicants in a village under Chitwa police station area of Nagaur.
Although the girl was intimidated as the accused had threatened to make the video of the rape viral, but late on Monday evening she broke her silence and filed a case against two people. Police registered an FIR against two people at Chitwa police station and took both of them into custody on Tuesday.
According to the police, the girl, who is studying in Class X, said that she was on her way to school four days back when two men pushed her into a vehicle.
“On the way, they gave her narcotics and later gang-raped her. The girl said in the complaint that both had also recorded the video of the rape and threatened to make it viral. After the rape, she was dropped near her house. hariram jajunda, Station in-charge, Chiawa police station on Tuesday.
The girl initially kept quiet out of fear but on Monday she narrated her ordeal and shared everything that happened to her with her parents.
“Her father approached the police station on Monday evening and filed a case of kidnapping and gang rape against two men. The accused have been identified as Kundan (23) and Bhanu Prakash (28). His medical examination has been done and his statements have also been taken and his statement under Section 164 of CrPC will also be recorded,” the official said.
When contacted, Nagaur Superintendent of Police Abhijit Singh said, “Both the accused have been taken into custody and are being questioned. He will be arrested soon. We will try to take up the matter as per the plan of the officer and try to file the charge sheet as soon as possible.
Since it is a case of gang rape, the Circle Officer of Kuchaman City has been entrusted with the task of investigating the matter.
