JAIPUR: The state government on Thursday decided to postpone the practical board exam of RBSE for class 12 till further orders.
Due to rising COVID cases in the state, the government has taken this decision as at present around 25 districts are in the red zone.
School Education Minister BD Kalla said, “In view of the increasing number of Kovid-19 in the state, we have decided to postpone the practical board examination of class 12th till further orders. Any decision will be taken in February.
The RBSE Board exam will start from March 3, 2022, following the guidelines of COVID as per earlier government orders.
Meanwhile, the government will monitor the corona scenario in the state before finally conducting the exam.
Education Minister BD Kalla had said that more than 20 lakh students will appear in the board exams at 6,074 centres.
To ensure physical distance at all the centers, less than capacity candidates will be seated with arrangements of masks and sanitizers.
