Sachin Pilot’s attack comes two days after Ashok Gehlot “praised” Vasundhara Raje, saying she helped save his government during the Sachin Pilot rebellion period of 2020.

Criticizing Rajasthan Chief Minister and his party colleague Ashok Gehlot, Congress leader Sachin Pilot on Monday said the Gehlot leader looks like BJP’s Vasundhara Raje and not Sonia Gandhi.

Sachin Pilot’s attack comes two days after Ashok Gehlot “praised” BJP leader Vasundhara Raje at a rally in Dholpur. He helped save his government during 2020 Sachin Pilot rebellion period.

Responding to this, Sachin Pilot said on Tuesday, ‘After listening to Ashok Gehlot’s speech in Dholpur, it seems that his leader is Vasundhara Raje Scindia, not Sonia Gandhi.’

“I now understand why CM [Ashok Gehlot] Haven’t taken action against corruption,” Sachin Pilot said, for the first time he was seeing someone criticize MPs and MLAs from his own party and praise BJP leaders

“For the first time, I am seeing someone criticizing MPs and MLAs of his own party. Rajasthan MLA Sachin Pilot said that praising BJP leaders and insulting Congress leaders is beyond my understanding, it is absolutely wrong.

Raje, however, had on Monday dismissed Gehlot’s remarks, calling it a “conspiracy” and also slammed Amit Shah for accusing him of dirty politics.

Gehlot had also accused Home Minister and BJP leader Amit Shah of playing political games, saying he conspired with Gajendra Singh Shekhawat and Dharmendra Pradhan to topple his government.

The tussle between Congress leaders Sachin Pilot and Ashok Gehlot is well known and saw an ugly turn when CM Gehlot accused Union minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat and Pilot of toppling his government in 2020.

Since then, the Rajasthan Congress has seen several bouts of the never-ending Pilot vs Gehlot feud.

Sachin Pilot also announced on Tuesday that he would undertake a ‘Jan Sangharsh Padyatra’ from Ajmer to Jaipur on May 11 and raise corruption and other issues related to the youth.

Sachin Pilot said, ‘I believe that the right decisions are taken only when we get the support of the people.
