Defense Minister Rajnath Singh on Saturday telephoned Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) chief and son of former Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal, Sukhbir Singh Badal, to inquire about his well-being.
Shri Parkash Singh Badal, who is 95 years old and former five time Chief Minister of Punjab admitted to a hospital A week ago in Mohali, he had complained of shortness of breath.
In a telephonic conversation with Mr. Sukhbir Badal, the Defense Minister wished Mr. Parkash Singh Badal a speedy recovery.
“Spoke to Shri Sukhbir Badal and inquired about the health of former Chief Minister of Punjab, Shri Parkash Singh Badal ji, who is hospitalised. Praying for his good health and speedy recovery,” Mr Singh tweeted.
