Telugu action star Gopichand is back on the big screen in the family entertainer Rama Banam with veteran Jagapathi Babu and director Srivas. The film was released in theaters on 5 May. The film’s collections were below expectations. The film was projected to earn between Rs 1.5 to 1.7 crore in Telugu states. It has acquired around 1.27 crore shares worldwide. Ram Banam also paid Rs. 16 crore in worldwide pre-release business. The film is going to release soon on Sony LIV.

It was released on 840 screens worldwide. To top his earlier works Lakshyam and Lokyam, Srivas directed this film. For this film, he came up with an engrossing story that combines social satire and sentiment for the family.

The story focuses on two brothers who share a house but their lives are quite different. Despite having different ideologies, their goal is the same. They resolve disagreements cooperatively. The film was full of clever dialogues and powerful action sequences.

Macho star Gopichand delivers a stellar performance as always. He looks fashionable in the songs and aggressive in the action sequences. There is a character like Jagapathi Babu in this movie. The comedy elements in most parts of the film are highly successful. The emotional scenes, interval sequences, some witty comments and some of the songs are engaging to watch.

The film also stars Dimple Hayathi, Khushbu, Ali, Nassar, Tarun Raj Arora, Kasi Vishwanath, Subhalekha Sudhakar, Satya, Saptagiri, Vennela Kishore and Getup Srinu in pivotal roles.
