Ram Gopal Varma takes a jibe at Pawan Kalyan for pulling out of Andhra Pradesh CM race

Varma tweeted that Kalyan had made Telugu Desam Party supremo N.K. Chandrababu Naidu has also been stabbed in the back.

According to Kalyan, if his party had won at least 30 seats in the last assembly elections, he would have stood for the CM’s post this time.

Filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma recently took a dig at power star Pawan Kalyan, who is also the chief of the Jana Sena party, for his remarks on the post of chief minister. The Power Star said in a press meet that he does not find himself eligible to participate in the elections this time. According to Kalyan, he would have stood for the post this time if his party had won at least 30 seats in the last assembly elections. Verma said that Kalyan has backstabbed his fans with this decision. The filmmaker also wrote that Kalyan had offended Telugu Desam Party supremo N.K. Cheated Chandrababu Naidu as well. There were rumors that the two may forge an alliance before the elections. “My deepest condolences to all his family members,” Verma tweeted.

RGV did not stop here and came up with another video which mocked Kalyan’s earlier statements. Power Star had claimed himself to be in the race for the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh.

On the work front, Varma last directed the film Dangerous. The film revolves around two women who have had bad experiences with men. They fall in love with each other. The story of the film progresses to how they fight men to protect their love. Dangerous was unsuccessful and the film was criticized by the audience for its poor story, screenplay and direction. Audiences liked the cinematography and production design, though. Some of them also liked the acting of actress Naina Ganguly but overall the film was rejected by the audience.

On the other hand, Kalyan is looking forward to his much-awaited film Hari Har Veera Mallu. Directed by Krish Jagarlamudi, the film is based on the life of Veera Mallu, a dacoit who lived in the 17th century Mughal Empire. Hari Har Veera Mallu also stars Bobby Deol, Nidhhi Agarwal and others.
