Ramadan 2022: The holy month of Ramadan is one of the most important times for the Islamic community around the world. The holy month began on April 2, which will end on May 2 with Eid-ul-Fitr celebrations the next day. During this month-long period, followers of Islam observe fasting or Roza. Those who fast during Ramadan, wake up early in the morning to have their first meal or sehri, and break their fast in the evening with a meal called iftar.

The month of Ramadan is auspicious and holy for all the believers of Islam. Strict fasting means not drinking water during the day and not eating anything. Therefore, only during Sehri and Iftar can a person eat and gain energy to observe a strict fast.

The dates of this holy month depend on the lunar calendar, and it varies every year. Ramadan falls in the ninth month of the Islamic calendar and begins after the crescent moon appears.

If you fast during this period, here are the Sehri and Iftar times for Wednesdays and Thursdays:

Wednesday: Iftar time is 06:50 PM

Thursday: Sehri time is 04:26 AM; Iftar time is 06:50 PM
