Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt’s Mehndi Ceremony ended on Wednesday. The affair was quite private as the couple did not make any public appearances and the stars who attended the event kept glimpses of the ceremony away from social media headlines. However, late on Wednesday night, Karisma Kapoor shared the first picture from Mehndi. While the soon-to-be couple was missing in the post, Karisma gave fans a glimpse of her mehendi.
Taking to her Instagram stories, Karisma revealed that she has got a unique mehndi. Instead of getting a design done on her palm, Karisma opted to have mehndi applied to her feet. He shared the picture with the caption, “I love Mehndi,” along with a heart emoji.
For the ceremony, Karisma chose a bright orange colored ethnic suit, which she styled with an embellished dupatta. She carried a bundle in her hand and completed her look with a traditional shoe.
Karisma was seen attending the ceremony along with Kareena Kapoor, Neetu Kapoor, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni and other family members of the Kapoor family. The ceremony took place at Ranbir Kapoor’s Pali Hill home in Vastu. Neetu also confirmed to the paparazzi on Wednesday evening that the wedding is taking place in Vastu today i.e. on April 14. He and Riddhima announced the date of the wedding and said, “(Wedding) ghar pe, Vastu (will happen).”
When the paparazzi requested her to say something about her bahu (daughter-in-law), Neetu said, “Main kya bolu unse about (what should I say about her). She is the best.” Riddhima said, “Bahut cute hai yaar (She is so cute).” Neetu said, “God bless her indeed,” and Riddhima said, “Sweet, very cute, doll like hai (She is so sweet and sweet like a doll).”
Ranbir and Alia have been together for more than four years. They made their relationship official in May 2018 at Sonam Kapoor’s wedding.
