Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor has confirmed that Aditya Roy Kapur and Ananya Panday are dating. For months it is being claimed that Aditya is dating Ananya. The rumored couple has not addressed the claims, but they are often seen together, fueling the speculation. Ranbir added fuel to the fire in a new interview.
Sitting for an awkward interview with Netflix India, Ranbir was asked about Aditya. The Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani actors are close friends and are seen together on special occasions. The interviewer, social media influencer Aishwarya Mohanraj admitted that she is a big fan of Aditya. While Ranbir puts her on a quick call with Aditya for a sweet exchange, Aishwarya asks Ranbir about the New Year party that Aditya also attended.
Ranbir reveals that Aditya is always around and jokes, “I don’t know whether he wants to be around you or not.” He then added, “I know he likes a girl who starts with the letter A,” possibly referring to Ananya.
Speculations about a romantic relationship between Aditya and Ananya began when Karan Johar hinted at it on his talk show, Koffee With Karan 7. After this, the rumored couple was spotted together at various Bollywood functions including Kriti Sanon’s. Diwali celebration last year.
On the work front, Ananya will be seen in the upcoming film Dream Girl 2 opposite Ayushmann Khurrana. Additionally, she has two projects: one under Vikramaditya Motwane and another called Call Me Bey. On the other hand, Aditya was last seen in Gumrah opposite Mrunal Thakur. He is now reportedly working on the second season of The Night Manager.
Whereas, Ranbir is currently shooting for Animal. The film also stars Rashmika Mandanna and Anil Kapoor and is directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga. The actor’s look for the film is quite strong.
