RAS serves as the state-level civil services authority in Rajasthan. It is a state-level entrance examination that is organised annually by the Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) to recruit candidates for various executive-level positions in Group ‘A’ and ‘B’ within Rajasthan State Services and Subordinate Services. This comprehensive three-stage examination aims to appoint individuals to state cadres, including but not limited to Rajasthan Administrative Services, Rajasthan Police Service, Rajasthan Accounts Service, Rajasthan Commercial Tax Service, Rajasthan Excise Subordinate Service, among other vital roles.

For RPSC RAS recruitment, candidates are required to hold a Graduate degree and fall within the age bracket of 21 to 40 years.
