Rashmika Mandanna’s fourth Bollywood film will be directed by Laxman Utekar.
Rashmika’s next film will reportedly be based on the eldest son of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.
Rashmika Mandanna has carved a niche for herself in Bollywood. She garnered much acclaim for her performance as Sreevalli in Allu Arjun’s Pushpa: The Rise. Rashmika has reached the status of ‘National Crush’ due to her beauty and decency. Pushpa helped him become an all-India sensation and started his back-to-back projects Bollywood Too. As per the recent reports, the Warisu star has signed yet another Hindi film.

As of now, Rashmika has an impressive line-up of films. There is one more reason for his fans to be happy. His next film is said to star the National Award winning actor. The project under consideration is called Chhawa, and will be based on the life of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj. Chhawa will be a pan India historical film about the eldest son of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.
As per reports, Rashmika will be cast opposite Vicky Kaushal in the film. She will play the role of Yesubai Bhonsle, wife of Sambhaji Maharaj.
The film will be directed by Laxman Utekar. Dinesh Vijan of Maddock Films, who has produced several Bollywood hits like Stree, Bhediya, Luka Chuppi, Angrezi Medium and others, will back it. Chhawa is now in pre-production and is scheduled to go on floors in September this year. More details about the film are being kept under wraps for now.
Rashmika Mandanna was last seen in Mission Majnu. She will be next seen in the sequel to Pushpa: The Rise opposite Allu Arjun. Fans are looking forward to Pushpa: The Rule, in which Rashmika will reprise her role as Srivalli. She will also be seen in Animal, directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, which will release later this year.
Rashmika is also set to star in Rainbow alongside Dev Mohan. He has recently completed the first schedule of the film.
