Ravi Teja’s next Dhamaka passed from censor board with this certificate

Mass maharaja Ravi Teja has been on a roll lately. The Tollywood actor featured in two films this year namely Khiladi and Rama Rao On Duty. Now, he is all set to end 2022 with a bang, with his last film of the year – Dhamaka, directed by Trinadha Rao Nakkina.

Touted as an action comedy film, Dhamaka is all set to hit the big screens on December 23 on the occasion of Christmas. Ahead of the film’s release, the makers recently created a lot of excitement on social media by announcing the release date of its trailer. As per the latest buzz, the mass entertainer is said to have completed all the censor formalities and has been cleared by the censor board with a U/A certificate.

A poster giving a similar suggestion has also gone viral on social media. Furthermore, it is reported that the runtime of Dhamaka is pegged at 2 hours 10 minutes. However, the makers are yet to make any official announcement regarding its censor board certificate or runtime.

Written and directed by Trinadha Rao Nakkina, Dhamaka stars Ravi Teja, Sri Leela and Jayaram in lead roles. The supporting cast of the Telugu film includes Sachin Khedekar, Tanikella Bharani, Rao Ramesh and Chirag Jani. The action comedy is jointly produced by Abhishek Agarwal and TG Vishwa Prasad under their home productions – Abhishek Agarwal Arts and People Media Factory.

In a recent interview with Greatandhra.com, Dhamaka’s female lead Sri Leela shed some light on her character in the film. He revealed listening to the script of this Ravi Teja-starrer even before the release of his debut Tollywood film, Pelli Sandadi.

“I loved my character in the film and of course the story as well. My character is different from Pelli Sanda. Dhamaka is a pataka cracker-popping peppy film. My character is that of a bubbly girl who shares a good rapport with everyone. However, she is positive about her boyfriend. It is an entertaining character,” shared Mr. Leela.
