India Post Recruitment 2023: The applications can be submitted online on or before February 16 at the official website of the Department of India indiapostgdsonline.gov.in.
India Post has invited applications for 40,889 Gramin Dak Sevaks for the post of Branch Postmaster (BPM), Assistant Branch Postmaster (ABPM) and Dak Sevak. Applications can be submitted online at the official website of the department India post at indiapostgdsonline.gov.in on or before 16 February. Candidates can edit or make corrections in their application forms between February 17 and February 19.
Gramin Dak Sevaks are appointed on contract basis. The age limit criteria mention that the minimum age of the candidates should be 18 years and maximum 40 years for all the posts as on the last date of submission of application. However, relaxation in age limit is offered to candidates belonging to reserved categories.
India Post Recruitment 2023: Educational Qualification
The minimum education qualification is 10th class secondary school examination passing certificate. Candidate must have passed in English and Mathematics papers in class 10th examination. In addition, they must have studied at least one local language. Candidates should have knowledge of computer, cycling and adequate means of livelihood.

Step 1: Candidates have to register themselves on GDS Online Engagement Portal at www.indiapostgdsonline.gov.in.
Step 2: On the homepage, click on the Gramin Dak Sevak link.
Step 3: For registration, candidates must have their email id and mobile number. Register and fill the details on the form.
Step 4: Pay the application fee and click on submit. The fee is Rs 100 for all notified posts. Payment of fee is exempted for all women applicants, SC and ST applicants, disabled applicants and transwomen applicants.
Step 5: Save and download the form for future reference.

The application fee for the recruitment is Rs 100. However, it is relaxed for all women applicants and candidates belonging to SC, ST, PWD and Transwomen categories.
India Post Recruitment 2023: Selection Process
Candidates will be shortlisted for engagement on the basis of system generated merit list. As per the notification, this merit list will be prepared on the basis of conversion of marks/grade marks obtained in 10th class secondary school examination of approved boards into percentage to the accuracy of four decimals.
India Post Recruitment 2023: Salary
Selected candidates will be paid a monthly salary of Rs 10,000 to Rs 20,380 with Time Related Continuity Allowance depending on the post.
