REET 2021 Result Declared, What’s Next

Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education (RBSE) has declared the result of written examination. Rajasthan Eligibility Test for Teachers (REET) 2021 on Tuesday, November 2. Those successful in the exam will be called for personal interview by the board.

The interview round will be based on the candidate’s preference and their merit list along with their educational qualification. Selected candidates who successfully clear the interview round will be posted in government schools across the state based on the vacancies. As per the notification of the exam, only the candidates who cross a certain cut-off will be considered eligible, which is prescribed category-wise. Candidates who obtain 60 percentile or more marks are considered eligible.

Candidates must have passed Graduation with 50% marks and also passed or appearing in final year of two year Diploma in Elementary Education (DElEd). The exam is for two levels – for those who want to teach at the primary level i.e. classes 1 to 5, and the secondary level for those who want to teach classes 6 to 8. before this, Certificates of Teacher Eligibility Test were valid for 7 years Later the Ministry of Education made it lifelong.

During this, RBSE has withheld the level-1 result for B.Ed and D.L.Ed. Board Chairman DP Zarauli has informed that after an order of Rajasthan Court, the result of B.Ed and D.L.Ed candidates appeared in REET level-1 exam has been withheld. The results will be released only after the court’s decision.

Also, the result of REET 2021 Candidates found using unfair means has also been stopped and investigation is on for this and the board will take necessary action against the culprits.

REET is an annual examination conducted by BSER to select eligible candidates for teaching posts in government-owned schools. The candidates who appeared for the written test can check their result on the official website of the exam – reetbser21.com. REET 2021 was conducted on 26 September this year and the answer key for the exam was released on 24 October.
