Regina King has teamed up with David E Kelly for ‘A Man in Full’, a Netflix limited series based on the novel by Tom Wolfe, which follows a real estate mogul who suddenly faces bankruptcy
Academy Award-winning actor-director Regina King has joined hands with David E Kelly to adapt Tom Wolfe’s 1998 novel a man in full Netflix as a limited series. The project has received a direct-to-series order on Netflix, with streamers ordering six one-hour episodes.

In the series, when Atlanta real estate mogul Charlie Crocker suddenly faces bankruptcy, political and business interests collide as Charlie gracefully defends his empire from those trying to cash in on his downfall. According to Diversity, Kelly – known for producing popular shows like Doogie Hauser MD., big little lie, Boston Legal And Ally McBeal — Will serve as writer, executive producer and showrunner a man in full.
King will direct the first three episodes in addition to serving as executive producer under his Royal Ties production banner.
